From a Dip to a Main Dish: Loaded Hummus

Our Loaded hummus combines the heartiness of hummus with the freshness of a Mediterranean salad. Served with pita bread, you can turn traditional hummus into a main dish.

First, prepare the hummus. For this recipe we use Roasted Pepper Hummus

For the salad, you'll need tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, black olives, capers, and za'atar, or oregano

Cut into small pieces the cherry tomatoes and cucumber, finely slice the red onion, and combine with the rest of the ingredients.

Add olive oil, za’atar, salt, black pepper, and fresh mint and mix well.

Transfer the hummus to a plate and using the back of a spoon, move in a circular motion from the center of the bowl to the edge.

Add the Mediterranean Salad to the hummus, and serve with pita bread.
