Vegan Mashed Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces.
Add the cut potatoes into a large pot. Fill the pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook the potatoes until completely soft.
Drain the water, and let the potatoes dry off for about 1 or 2 minutes.
Place the potatoes back in the pot and add the vegan butter, plant-based milk, and ground nutmeg. Add salt to taste.
Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with some fresh herbs and serve.
